How Much Is An Online Turkish E-Visa For US Citizens In 2025
I’ve visited Turkey several times in the last few years and surprisingly, it is one of the easiest and quick visa application for citizens of the United States of America. There are many sites that appear when you search for Online Turkish Visa, but it’s easiest, fastest, and cheapest to apply for an e-visa on the official electronic visa application system.
As of 2023, Americans can also apply for a multi-entry visa and even a visa on arrival, which was not previously available as an option.
Tourist Visa No Longer Required For Stays Under 90 Days
GREAT NEWS. As of January 1, 2024, US Citizens do not need a visa for Turkey for stays up to 90 days in a 180 day period. This means you can enter multiple times as long as you do not exceed a total stay of 90 days in a 180 day period.
This is similar to the Europe Schengen zone scheme for US citizens.
What If You Want To Stay Longer Than 90 Days?
For US Citizens wishing to stay longer than 90 days, you need to apply for a residence permit.
The tourist residence permit can be acquired by scheduling an online appointment for e-residency applications at e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr for Provincial Directorates of Migration Management Offices. The six month residence permit plus the 90-day initial entry permit will allow U.S. citizens to stay legally in Turkey for up to a total of 9 months.

Do you know if you do a “family” e-visa if you have to pay $50 for each person? Or does the $50 cover everyone in your family? Thx
As far as I know, you can apply for a whole family at once, but the payment will probably be per person. You can try to go through the process right up until the payment page and it will tell you how much it is for everyone.
I’ve been in the U.K. for 50 years, but have a U.S. passport as I was born there. I’m going to Turkey mid June for one week. Is it easy to get an E-visa, and how do I pay in sterling? Thanks!
Did you happen to notice is the visa is increased to $50 at port of entry also?
Hey Kein, the link no longer opens up. Is there a problem with it?
It looks to be working.
